The Royle Merchant will be Australia’s first Australian Made, Merchant Inspired line of Spiced Silver Cane Spirits and Rums. They are passionate about producing high-quality spirits using the spices you would have found merchants trading along the Spice Roads across Asia, Northeast Africa and Europe; and infusing them with high-quality Australian sugarcane.

The base of the mark was around the shape of an anchor, tying back to the merchant ships theme. Within this shape lay T, R and M as well as the reverse shape of people, to bring in the core value of the brand, sharing great food and drinks with good company. The brand was moody and centered around imagery of merchant ships with a script font paired with a bold uppercase font to mimic the look of merchant notes in a modern way.
